I recycle alumium tabs from cans, donate clothes to The Goodwill and The Red Cross, donations of newspapers at my church. Labels from Campbell’s soup cans and other products are just a few ways I help to recycle to support charities. I take my magazines to the library for The Friends of the Library, where they sell them for funds to help with expenses to keep their programs going. I give coffee cans to local schools for art classes. I have donated coats to the Warm Coat Drive, donating gently used children toys and clothes to the Kids Closet an organization helping children. There are many organizations that accept alumium in various shapes and sizes, then they recycle it for money to help defer budget expenses. There are groups that recycle your cell phone, such as womens shelters that provide protection from abuse, there are programs that take used phones to help soldiers make calls home. If you look locally, you probably can find more than a few places that will help you recycle and you will help them either by keeping expenses down, or help to raise money so badly needed and often these days so difficult to find. Thanks, for your help -God Bless!
